the Laboratory
Our recently renovated laboratory space is equipped to conduct a wide range of soil chemistry and geochemistry experiments. Major instrumentation includes an atomic force microscope, an atomic absorption spectrophotometer, a capillary electrophoresis system, a high performance liquid chromatograph, two fiber optic UV-visible spectrophotometers, oxygen and carbon dioxide meters, home built crystal growth and dissolution reactors, and a PCR thermocycler. We are located on the third floor of Williams Hall adjacent to the analytical service laboratory.
