Owen received his B.S. from the College of William and Mary, M.S. in Environmental Science and Engineering from the University of North Carolina, and Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University.

en received his BSc and MSc from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, and his PhD from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He is currently working on biogenic manganese oxides produced by fresh water fungi.

Andrew Whitaker

Andrew is a Ph.D student studying iron oxidizing bactera and the structure of the resulting oxides. He holds B.S. in Soil Scinec for North Carolina State University.

Dawn is a Master's student working on the purification of pyoverdin siderophores. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Technology and Management from North Carolina State University.

Josh is working on his B.S. in evirovnemnatl technology and working on degradation of pesticides.

Danial is working on his B.S. in Civil and Environemntal engineering. He works with manganese oxides.

Although he usually telecommutes, Rulon takes his duties as lab mascot very seriously. His advanced training is from the Wake County SPCA.
